• This exhibition presents an eclectic panorama of the contemporary New York art scene through the work of ten young artists. Exposed artists draw from the history of art (especially in minimal art) and in the popular culture, indiscriminately to use these references as the iconographic or pictorial material. Carl Andre wrote: “art is what we do. Culture is what is done.” (1)

The artist describes her latest creations as well: “this work reflects nostalgia for a mysterious and amazing landscape that becomes a leak, a refuge. They are open places, to the quiet atmosphere, with mystical entities.” These melancholic decorations were populated with beings human and animals to the evanescent contours that seem derived from ancestral stories that we have forgotten. For the artist, they play a role reassuring, embodying “camaraderie, reciprocity, wisdom and advice”.
