PAPER DEVIATIONS will present a group of artists pushing the use of paper as a medium to new places of discovery. The artists use paper as a tool to explore non-traditional methods of expression and off kilter imagery, questioning the viewer’s perception and interpretation of what may seem to be apparent but is quite often only suggested or imagined. Imaginatively quirky and willfully neurotic describe the natural tendencies of much of this groups’ artistic practice which is riddled with obsessive repetition and dark humor.
